some guy want to make it againist the law in NYC to walk across the street while talking on you cell, texting or listening to you ipod. WTF i say if you get hit by a bus it is your fault. if you are caught they want to give a 100 dollar fine. what are your feelings?

I actually think it's a great idea! I'd be extremely pissed if some numbnuts who is too self-important to pay attention to their surroundings dashes in front of me. Injured or dead, who cares - but I would care about the effect it would have on me.
For the record, I don't live in NY and I'm not really sure how I would vote on this .... it would require more thought than just my first reaction.

That is a bit absurd BUT if someobody was hit by a bus(or whatever) while doing this, it is almost for certain that they WOULD sue the driver & WIN.
