Internet Cafes are suffering due to the cables being damaged in the Taiwan Earthquake, thus baud rates and transfer rates are very slow, so places like Netcafe are making most of their money from online gaming through LAN networks.

Realestate is making good money, I have land in Bacoor, Las Pinas and Alabang, I have an 8 door apartment in Las Pinas currently returning 3500 peso per month per unit, full occupancy until 2009, with a deep well which provides free water for a few hours per day.

Developing land and selling on the property is also lucrative, however, not everyone can afford a mortgage so you may find you keep the property for a while before you can sell it. Build costs for a 2/3 story 55 m sq footprint townhouse in a decent subdivision (CAT A) will cost around 6000 per SQ M to buy the land plus 650,000 to build a 2/3 story including a deep well. You will be able to re sell the property for around 1.3 to 1.5 million, but again it is lucky if you can find a buyer these days. Balikbayans are often on the lookout for quality properties in decent areas, so you could aim your marketing at them.

You could also set yourself up as a property broker, although you perhaps need an element of luck and decent contacts for this, whereby you pre sell land and Condominiums on behalf of the developers and retain a commission of sometimes up to 5% per sale.

A noble man like me should not watch that kind of second-rate show. I only watch sports on my 42" TV. I work for an organization that spent about $2.8M into the Philippines in 2006 and a little bit more by the end of this year, by way of programs and projects in education and health care. I'm earning 6 figures, eating out, being cool, driving a luxury sports car, watching sports on my 42" TV and vacationing in Europe.
