With your answers i would like to tell you i wrote this from a 9th grader postion. This is because i wanted to see how someone coul be so child like to make fun of them for there grammer it was rood and unkind. The weather conditions were horrible it doesnt matter about canadiens weather it's about the weather going on now were we are some families can't afford jackets or expensive winter gear. Like said 18 people in two weeks have died from the extreme windchill it was at least -30 this morning the school had not taking the personal safety of everyone in. This is a common thing fought out in court sueing the school for lack of judgment if you think about it because they didnt put forward the effort to seeing if children safety was strong children died so in my opinion the school would not deserve to win they should pay for there stupidity. So please stop leaving rood unkind messages thank you

I have class and it's in the negatives here... Although I am in college. You sit in one building all day (most likely) and I have to travel to many.

No, it's isn't a "law". Canadians and Alaskans go to school in colder conditions. It's up to the school district. If the conditions were as bad as you say, then voice your complaint to the school district. Suing isn't going to solve anything. If you don't like it, walk or find another way to school. Unfortunately that might not be an option for you, and that I understand - but you're stuck with it. If the conditions are that bad, then make your own decision not to go to school for your own personal safety. The school might not agree with you, but if that's what you feel like you have to do, then do it. No sense in whining about it.

People have not been known to die waiting for the bus. Unless they've been there for 8+ hours waiting. Even that is pushing it. To die from exposure to the elements, at that temperature you'd have to be out there a heck of a lot longer.

But that's the way our society is now - I'll just sue. That'll fix it!

What do you think kids up in Canada do? Or northern US states? They suck it up because they can't control the situation. Best adivice - dress warmer, wear a scarf to cover your face and mouth (that's what they're made for), invest in gloves or mittens, etc and you'd be amazed at how much warmer you are. It will keep you from "freezing to death".

And as far as "rood" goes - it's obvious you need to be in school. Your grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and spelling are downright awful. Maybe that's why the school district held school that day - because kids need to learn.

Did you have on layers of clothing? Did you have a scarf covering your mouth? Were you layered approriately in all over areas?
Basically, were you dressed appropriately for the weather you were out in?
How does "-6" equal the bus could have flipped? Were the roads properly salted and cleared?

Basically, it was cold and I seriously doubt you were properly dressed for the conditions you were in. My suggestions - buy some long underwear, heavy socks, a scarf to cover your nose and mouth (inhaling cold air makes it difficult to breathe) and be prepared for the weathter you are going out in.

And sure you can sue anyone for anything, but would you win - not likely.

Be happy you get to ride the bus. next time dress for the weather and don't show up so darn early at the bus stop. Temperatures like this are not a new thing.
