The Taliban is in the offensive again and controls large parts of the country. Coalition soldiers and the Afghan army are in constant conflict with them and the war is still undecided. In a recent offensive British soldiers came close to taking out a Taliban fort, but they had to retreat because of heavy opposition. Until the war is won, or at least one side is taking the upper hand I think that freedom is difficult to fully accept. For instance schools that teach girls receive treats and are targeted in Taliban attacks.
A massive increase of funds and troops is needed to turn the tides. Good thing you brought this up. It seems sometimes as if the war is over or not important anymore, but in fact the Taliban is stronger than ever (last year most activity on record). Now it is winter, the Taliban dissolve into high mountain villages, only to come out again in spring for a new offensive. NATO believes it is imperative to strike at them now, in order to drive a wedge between the Taliban, and those who they pay to fight for them. NATO troops are required to destroy the opium (cocaine) fields; however several NATO nations have refused to adopt this strategy until an alternative can be found for the farmers.
NATO command believes that the war against the Taliban could be won. Winning this war is of the utmost importance. You cannot live in freedom when the Taliban are still running amok.

Well, they are enjoying simple things in life like listening to music, Western radio, dancing, and sports. The Taliban always had a reason why something had to be forbidden. It was like living in a stern convent. Nothing fun was allowed.
Girls are attending school, and women are allowed to run a business. They actually have a stock market, and foreign investors are now willing to put money into the country.
Yeah...... isn't that interesting. The Liberal press NEVER sees fit to write a story about something positive. I think I'd faint if they published an article about the improvement in the lives of Afghans, and I'd drop dead instantly if they printed a quote from an Afghan who praised Bush for freeing them.

As Taliban are additionally a US challenge, than as long by using fact the individuals are in fever of conserving them to justify their oil software, Taliban might desire to exist the two in Afghanistan or in Pakistan. we've been experiencing this many cases so a ways, that's the comparable I the US government did in Iraq, and additionally such as what the individuals are doing with N Korea. Who grant help for Sadam to attack Iran interior the 80s, it replaced into united states, and now if united states somewhat needs to give up Iran from having nuclear potential, why the individuals are no longer combating Pakistan and Russia from offering of nuclear technologies to Iran and why Israel might desire to have nuclear weapons.
