I for one am getting more than a bit aggrivated by not having control of my speech and I feel that 'political correctness' should be saved for its actual name...POLITICAL. I do not believe that political correctness is CONSTITUTIONAL and that there is somewhat of a reverse discrimination going on in America.

Every other nation comes to the US to be free, and yet free Americans are continously being bound to a lifestyle that some of us choose not to have. Our Constitutional rights tell us we have FREE SPEECH therefore, we should be able to keep that right. I don't believe that government should be able to interfer with what we say, or for that matter how we say it.

It seems that it is okay for newcomers to get away with just about anything they choose, but if an American speaks out of turn and attempts to express their true feelings 'WE ARE SURPRESSED'. Are there others out there who feel as I do?
I would very much like to know how others feel as well, without scarcasm.

Political Correctness is like having your pets spayed or neutered. Yet it still looks like a cat or dog. I won't try to rescue a pet from a shelter or pound. Especially if they have that clause in the contract.

I am a guy who understands that every time I turn the key to my car it is going to cost me. Likewise everyone who uses that term is telling me to shut up. Likewise any politician that does this costs me and not worth the time it takes to print their name on the ballot.
My whole education boils down to yes/no, pass/fail. There is no room for a bell curve in that. Otherwise I'd be just another ding-a-ling.

If you are not running for public office then there is no need to feel you have to be politically correct. It is not a law and those who insist on political correctness have no authority to demand it from anyone. Say and think whatever you want.

Yes I am tired of hearing about it but no, I in no way feel surpressed by it.

I stopped worrying about being PC a long time ago. Politically correct is probably a good name for it. If you are a politician you may have good reason to want everyone to like you so you can get the votes. For everyday people being PC is just being phony.

PC around this forum only chooses themselves as the leading truth...This isn't Political Correctness along the lines of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Choose the right path from your heart and gut instinct, spin and spam to bend views isn't reality. Karma always conquers all in the end.

The entire PC movement is being championed by those with a vested interest in keeping tension between the races and ethnicities. There is big money in devisiveness and those proclaiming to be trying to "unite" are often working to keep up the tension. It is their form of job security.

Ask yourself this. Have you ever heard the word "occupation' of Iraq on TV or seen it in the news print? PC and propaganda are the same thing. Has Rush ever used the word? Has Bush ever used that word? Congress approved the search for WMDs and the removal of Saddam. Congress never approved the "occupation" of Iraq. Also note how "the failure of Bush to have a exit plan" has been down played by the "Liberal" news and Republicans.

I smoked a cig today in a non-smoking location and got away with it so PC is not ruling my life at all. I use words like sandnigger to describe terrorists, I go out of my way to do the opposite of PC and I enjoy my freedom
