Go and see the doctor, they will give you something for your scalp, and lumps i think it will disappear in a few days, but just to be careful go and see your GP.

i had the same reaction, it was to the developer, an antihistamine should help with the itching, and time for the hives to lessen and disappear, don't break the skin, itching, this will make the bumps take longer to heal.
i would suggest you doing a patch test if you decide to color your hair again, on the inside of your elbow or behind your ear, wait 24 hours to see if there is a reaction. If no reaction then you have found the line for you. This is what i had to do. I am a stylist and love doing color so the research and time was worth it. Just have antihistamine on hand i used an oral tablet as well as Benadryl topical for those bumps that just drive you crazy. Good Luck and Be sure to drink plenty of fluids to flush that histamine out of your system

Go to the chemist and by some Certrizine hydrochltrozone tablets they cost £3.99 so cheaper than perscription you take one a day only at it will help you especially with the itching. You may be able to buy the cream as well.
The pharmasist is trained so also ask their advise. You need to test strand your hair next time you dye it as you are obviously allergic you can buy dyes that are more natural not sure on what name is but again chemist should help.
I hope you feel better soon.

it normally tells you on the instructions how to test to see if you are allergic to the dye and what to do if you are. Have a check to see what they recommend. I would also go quickly to your local chemist and ask them what they can give you to get rid of the itch. You may have to take antihistamines for a few days before the lumps go away.

Take Benadryl for a couple of days. Most people assume Benadryl is only good for symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes, etc. But because it's an anti-histamine, it should help.
Try washing your hair using Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo.
If you have not seen any change or feel any better after 48 hours, you'll need to seek medical treatment to get a prescription-medicated wash.

Hiya, you really need to see a doctor and soon. If you can't get an appointment I suggest you go to your local hospital's accident and emergency department. I would advise washing your hair with plenty shampoo a few times to dilute the hair colouring, as the more you wash it the more it fades. Perhaps ring NHS Direct for further advise. Take Care.

An antihistamine preparation could help, but a trip to your hairdressers might also yield some good advice, as they will have covered this in their training.
Next time, do a patch test, and keep the box your dye came in to make sure you don't buy that product again.

this is why you should always insist on a skin test 48 hours b4 you dye your hair.
anyways.
your doctor will probably able to help you or try antihisamine tablets the sameones for people who get hayfever as they can help.
and wash your hair asap to help get the stuff of your scalp!
