O.K. As we all can see Steve nash just recently injured his shoulder and has been out at least two games already, and his team still won both games without him in the lineup correct me if I'm wrong but as a MVP your team should be lost without you if you weren't in the Lineup and they would be worse without you, but it's seems like the opposite The suns are just as good without Nash then with him.

Now the Lakers on the other Hand, When kobe got suspended for 1 game cuz of that whole Ginoboli thing the Next game they Lost to the Knicks without there star player THE KNICKS!! and then when he comes back they go back on their win streak and not to mention outplayed another MVP canidate in GIlbert arenas and beat him on his Home court. It's obvious who the real MVP of the league is and he Resides in L.A., the Lakers would be lost without him and their record wouldn't be 30-19, What's everyone else's opinion on the matter?

They can call Kobe a ball hog if they want but statistically speaking scoring champs have won more titles then assist champs so I have to agree with you that Kobe is MVP. It's harder to win a scoring title then anything else. These guys are deluded into thinking assist champs are better because they would like it to be true because it would mean then intelligence is more important then athleticism in basketball but they rarely can dominate in the playoffs because they rely on everyone else. Magic Johnson is an exception but he was also 6ft 10 compared to Nash who is 6ft. Kobe is simply the best because of his genetics and if they want to be in denial they can but life sucks.

i agree with the jhon guy kobe is not the mvp yes it is true when an mvp is out of the lineup his team should struggle but if you loook at all the sport's most mvp's are on a wining team and yes the laker's are 30-19 but i dont think kobe has or could lead his team on a 17 game wining streak that's the thing when steve nash is on the court he makes every body on his team better and it show's steve nash leads the league in assist at 11.8 a game where's kobe at???? kobe is manily a ball hog now yes his ppg are down this year but hand's down mvp goes to steve nash

Kobe is sweet and I think that he deserves a shot at the mvp. Nash has already won it twice in a row now and its time for him to step down. But I don't think that you can mention an mvp candidate without sayin Dirk's name he was the runner up last year and right now he is averaging 25 and 10 and Dallas has the best record in the league I think that right now Dirk should be the front runner for the mvp

Kobe is NOT the true MVP! Kobe is simply a legend in his own mind. Kobe is a self serving egotistical glory and ball hog!!! Your reasoning is invalid. Now. . if MVP stood for Most Volatile Person. . . or Most Vane Person. ... or Most Volatile Pedophile then he would be yes! Kobe will Not win another championship EVER!!! And by the way. . Phil Jackson is the most overated coach in the world next to Mike Kzyzevski! Phil Jackson has NEVER won a title unless his team had a Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen or a Shaquille Oneil and a Kobe Bryant. Who couldn't win a title with those two tandems!!!

Kobe is good and he is playing more for the team then for himself now. But he is still not the MVP, Steve Nash is. Kobe comes in at a close second.

We all see KOBE is the most important player in the league.maybe at one match he can got more and more scores, and another he all can make Lakers win.But i love Houston, this season the team make a lot of effors and the better ranks. And the most reason is McGrady. I love him

Hell no, Kobe Bryant is the most selfish player I have seen in the NBA for many years.
