stop talking. A sore throat is you're body's way of telling you that it's not well, the problem when people take all these pain relief sweets and things, and all remedies really, it only takes away the symptoms, not the cause, meaning that you can use your throat more freely, then you're pushing your throat when it needs time to heal, you could seriously injure yourself and end up with all sorts of problems by that. By all means, take a remedy for the pain, but restrain from over talking, shouting, singing, anything for a while until your throat is fine without the medicine.

There are some remedies you should try.

The following remedies are taken from http://www.grannymed.com/Meds/Swelling-and-sore-throat.aspx:

# Melt 2-3 teaspoons of salt to one glass of water, gurgle the salty water in your throat and on the infected area.
# Cut an onion into strips, squeeze the spicy juice out, add one spoon of honey and drink right away.
# Mix:

* 1 cup of salvia.
* 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar.
* 1-2 tea spoons of sea water.

Gurgle the mixture every 30 minutes to treat a painful throat or streptococcus bacteria. The liquid is not tasty but very helpful.

good luck

Gargling with salt water is a good option. There are also medicated mouth and throat washes out there like Listerine and Cepacol. Something else that's good is to drink cider vinegar with boiling water and honey. Rosehip tea and throat losenges do the trick too. So does chewable vitamin C

If you don't have cough, then mince 4-5 black peppers, mix that powder with a cup of milk and have it. Black peppers do magic for sore throats.

If you have cough, milk can aggreviate it. So, don';t use the above remedy.

I typically get this no matter if that is chilly out or if i'm using quick for a lengthy time period, e.g. using downhill for a lengthy time period. i imagine that is between the flaws that flow away gradually yet i'm no longer so particular.
