This has a lot to do with nature vs. nuture. I'm not sure how children learn morals, but it always doesn't depend on the parents. Although parents do influence their children's decisions, as children become more independent, they begin to make their own decisions. Sometimes a child can feel that a parent's moral is wrong from the start. For example growing up my parents were racist (although they claim not to be), and I always felt that was wrong. Everyone has morals. And whether they mean to or not, parents ALWAYS impress their morals on their children.
