this would be a bad move on the part of the employee. a manager needs to have a " professional attitude " toward all those one supervises. the company I worked for had strict guidelines for these circumstances. as a manager I could recommend people for a raise but the final decision was based upon job performance guidelines determined by the district manager

No, but if I were a chick and knew that was the only to get ahead, I'd be like most chicks and do whatever he wanted me to so I could get the raise. I mean, what the hell! A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, right?
