can u use anything else for a bass pedal? if not, can you make a home made one? As long as the sound is ok, it'll do.

I s'pose you could make one, but it'd be tricky, you'd have to work out levers and a beater, how about not using a bass drum like normal kits, lay it down and play it with sticks? no reason why not!!!

Haha....you NEED to buy a bass pedal or your drum will get messed up, probably wouldn't work anyway. The only way you could make on is if you had access to a machine shop and a degree in machine engineering. Just buy one, they are only like $50 new, you can probably get one used for $30.
