Any oil we took from Iraq (whose industry and resources are rebuilt and protected with American tax dollars and American blood) was paid for at market prices. The naivety and ignorance of some of the comments made on this site never fail to astonish me.

"Any oil we took from Iraq (whose industry and resources are rebuilt and protected with American tax dollars and American blood) was paid for at market prices."
Obviously, rebuilding and protecting a sovereign nation's resources after first destroying them must be a wholly generous favour.
There is no way of knowing whether it was paid for at market prices or not, so perhaps its your own stunning naivety and ignorance in making such an assumption that needs to be re-examined.
Rather, the widely reported fact of Iraq's missing billions demonstrates that questioning the conduct of America's government and businesses in Iraq is extremely valid and that all questions around it are as well.

Iraq sells its oil as a commodity on the open market. They sell it to whomever will pay them the highest price.
I am amazed that after all these years, anybody still believes those lies that America stole oil.

Well, since it's 2007 I don't think we'll take any in 2006 now (your question is in present tense).
