If Aveeno works for you stay with it. Everyone's skin changes, do to the seasonal weather or climate conditions I know in the winter that I have to use a body moisturizing lotion for severe dryness. I live in the North Eastern part of the country, so being inside more often with the heat constantly on dries my skin out more that the warmer months. When you can be outside during milder weather your skin can be uncovered and naturally exfoliate.I like to use Dove or Aveeno products. The oatmeal in Aveeno is a natural exfoliant. Use a lotion that is alcohol free, and has the fewest additives.

I just bought one from Suave the other day because my skin cracks and bleeds in the winter...(even without going outside, I'm a bit housebound). It's for Extremely Dry Skin, it works good and smells great.
I don't really like Aveeno, I've tried them before but I didn't find that it helped repair my skin. My hands were always clean when I put their lotion on but the aftersmell was awful! It seemed a bit sticky and I was still left with very dry skin.

Most moisturizing lotions contain some form of alcohol, which is actually drying to the skin. Eucerin cream does not contain alcohol and is actually what the doctors I work for tell patients to use, who have severe dry skin problems. Hope this helps!
