Two ways - try freezing it, it will go rock hard and might just break off.

Another way is to dissolve with a solvent such as metho, WD40, acetone. If you do this then wash the shirt thoroughly with lots of soap and hot water to get rid of the smell of the solvent.

Rub an ice cube over the area until it's hardened. Then take a butter knife and scrape it off. Once you've gotten the majority of the gum off, soak the shirt in a sink with some laundry detergent. Let it sit for a little while and then take a nail cleaning brush and rub the area vigorously to get any excess pieces off. Then, wash the shirt on its own in warm water in the washing machine. It might be a "waste of water" but it's better that than risk any possible gum from getting on any other clothes during the initial wash.

After it's done washing, take it out and run the nail brush back over the spot where the gum was.

best way is to use a can of Compressed air. Turn the can upside down and spray your gum spot. It will freeze much colder than it would with ice. and shatter or break. Just becareful. The spray is so cold it could burn you

ick. DO NOT GET THE SHIRT WET. mist it with a spray bottle, and stick it in the freezer overnight. Then, take a paint scraper and scrape it off. You could also try spreading peanut butter on it.
