Plastic surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got her Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

For some people in particular circumstances, it can be a positive life-changing experience. But if you're looking to undergo plastic surgery to correct a crisis of confidence, for example, then corrective surgery isn't always the answer as the 'part' to be corrected isn't always the problem.

Identifying the real reasons why someone wants to change something should always be sorted out first and then it would be a much better basis for a decision on whether surgery should be undertaken.

But it should not be for others to judge whether it should be allowed or not. If I was in a car crash, say, and had major scars on my face, for example, I am fairly sure I would probably want plastic surgery. But right now, I don't want to go near a surgeon. The right to choose is just as important as the reason why.

It really depends. Regarding a nose job it is one of the most expensive and complicated procedures which is also really painful because not only are they altering the skin but also the bone. They have to break the bone in order to reshape it, so in other words it is going to kill, and it is going to take time to heal. You will probably see a difference in a few weeks but the healing process is going to take around a year. However, I have seen before and after shots with nose jobs and there is a significant difference. I wouldn't say that the patients needed the actual procedure but the after shots are pretty amazing. There are a lot of people who has had a nose job, Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox, Jennifer Aniston and Ashley Tisdale (just to name a few) and I think they look fine (well except Megan because she has had a lot of botox). My opinion on plastic surgery is that I do not support it nor do I discourage it. The media always associates plastic surgery with Heidi Montag or Katie Price and thus everyone assumes that everyone who gets plastic surgery looks like that. That is only if you go for a ridiculous amount of implants, injections or fillers. But generally most people who get these procedures have some common sense and I am sure you have some too. Really the decision is yours. You should do your research, consult your doctor before making a final decision. Don't let the media and other people's ignorant opinions dictate on what you want to do.

Do you really need it?Why?
Most people have plastic surgery because they are vain.
If you are disfigured by accident etc, fine.No problem with that and you shouldn't have to pay for it either, but just to look younger?
I would say that unless you look like the back end of a bus for real, then the part of you that needs correcting is your self image, and no surgeon can fix that.

I would say though that plastic surgery for the truly disfigured has only had the investment in it mainly due to the vain people spending their cash on cosmetic enhancements, so there is always a plus side to everything.

Those that say 'not for vanity reasons' are the ones who will probably never be able to afford it. I say yes, although it isn't for me as I hate any medical procedure, but I think if people want to change something about them then they should have the opportunity to do so. We are supposed to live in a free society - last time I checked but you never know, plastic surgery could be next on the banning brigade's list.

Yes. My view on plastic surgery is quite simple - if you want to change something about yourself and can afford to do it - go ahead. You will of course get plenty of replies saying how self centered and vain you are - ignore them. Of course, the most important thing to do is to get a good and experienced surgeon. My friend had lippo by Alex Kadiris (does celebrity surgery) believe it or not he was a lot cheaper than transform and other quotes she received - he did the consultation and the operation and used the latest technology - she was very happy. Good luck!

I believe that plastic surgery should only be undertaken if the work is needed as the result of an illness or accident, deffo not for vanity reasons.

Why can't people just grow old gracefully these days or just be happy in their skin?

Yes. Now that I'm in my 30s I would say plastic surgery is becoming more ad more appealing especially in one certain area which I dread to think may sag!

I more than likely would not choose it for myself, unless I became disfigured from an accident or something. However, I would not judge those that feel they want or need to have plastic surgery.
