I am a big Madness fan and went to all the London gigs, I would have loved to have been a skin girl, but my mum would have murdered me... There was a skin girl in my class with a feathercut and I really wanted my hair like that... withthe feather fringe bleached blond! oh, memories. I often listen to ska, it is still my favourite.
I went to the Rainbow Theatre to a UB40 concert (about 1982) (with other groups eg Aswad, The Beat), the place was full of skins. Great night.

No I wasn't a skinhead but I did have my hair short, shaved up the back and sides very short, and left quite long on top with spikes - oh the shame!!!!! (Used an obscene amount of hair gel to keep it that way too!)

I was a little suedehead - does that count ? I LOVED The Beat best, but all the above too and Selector.
I had all the RUDE gear and a trilby to wear with my Doc Martins. Good days.
