An ocean front cottage with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and living room that overlook the ocean. It just has to have cable TV.

I would like to have a Victorian House that remained without alterations and still had the bay window where I might sit and read, iron railing, ornate Flemish brick bonding, stain glass in doorways and halls that when the sun shines look like the windows in a church, decoration on the walls and finally a slate roof.
I work in an architectural practise where everything is really modern and to me it lacks soul where as the older properties have stood the test of time and if those walls could speak bet there would be scandal galore.
As for rooms well 5 bedrooms would be fine along with the maids quaters in the eaves a large bathroom, lounge, smoking room, and kitchen well dream on because I will never be able to afford it in London unless an inheritance falls my way!
None of the 21st century toys like a computer just the essentials a land line, music played on a record player (blimey) not sure they exists, have a feeling I should have been born in the Victorian age then again maybenot it was hard but exciting as well.

A cottage with 4 bedrooms all en-suite.
Big kitchen and dining room. I love entertaining.
A large yard. No pool!!
enough parking for at least 5 cars.
Must find some way of not using too much electricity though

my dream home is an old 16th century farmhouse, with woodland around, an indoor pool & jacuzzi in the converted barn, field all around, and not too far from my friends!
i'm quite happy with it not being hi-tec, but there HAS to be a power shower there somewhere....
hmmmm.....dreamy....
this house is for sale near me.....
but it's a little out of my price range....
what's your dream house?
