First, talk to your doctor and make sure that don't have a physical problem that's causing your depression (like a thyroid disfunction). If your depression is really bad, the doctor can prescribe something to help you feel better but talk to him about alternative solutions before you drug yourself. Maybe he can also suggest a therapist that you can talk to about things going on in your life. Sometimes, that's helpful.

Some things that help me when I get drepressed are focusing on other things, helping someone less fortunate than me, making someone laugh, talking to a good friend, reading a book, or listening to some music I like. It also helps to figure out what it causing your depression: are you overworked? overstressed? Bored? Overwhelmed? If I have a lot of work to do, it can be overwhelming and that leads to depression. Tackle projects one at a time and eventually the pile will go down and so will the depression.

Hope you feel better soon.

Try Melatonin and a B complex. Get out more oftener into the sun or take a D vitamin. Analize what is causing the depression if you can and make-up your mind not to go there. If you are unsuccessful you should get professional help but do not take anti-depressants they only make situations worse as you are really not in your right mind to deal with things. Perhaps see a Natural Path Doctor if you can afford it.

Besides visiting a specialist....

... meet friends and have real discussion, from the heart, or even "silly" chats - it doesn't matter, as long as you are with someone you love and trust.
Socialise. Go to the movies, take a walk, walk the dog, take care of your plants... whatever makes you relax. Try to empty you head from misery thoughts and even for a second make believe you are joyous, even happy. Make good positive thoughts. Depression if you face it on time, if you do something about it on time,is cured 100%.

Maybe it is just a difficult period and it will soon pass.
You are yourself ' s best friend, don't forget it.

St. John's Wort!
----------------------

It is a herbal anti-depressant that is very effective|

If you feel yourself crashing, just take one and you will feel much better very soon|

You can take them at intervals according to how you feel|

Forget the S*** the doctors perscrible|

They are deadly poisons for the body and are much less effective than St. John's Wort and take much longer to work (St. John's Wort works within an hour, while this pharmacutical garbage can take up to three weeks to work. And the pharmacutical garbage has all sorts of terrible side effects, while St. John's Wort has practically none)|

You can get it in almost any drug store in the suppliments section|

It is very inexpensive too at about $12 for a two months supply|

-drink plenty of water
-eat healthily
-if you put yourself down, try push them thought out of your mind
-meditation
-light (sunlight and artificial) may help
-deep brain stimulation
-do NOT take drugs unless you are preskripbed by the doctor (sorry im dyslexic and can't spell very well)
all of these things will help.
Good luck :)

My mother deals with that crap. She lives with it and takes pills for it. I wonder the same thing, when she doesn't take the pills she always gives me a ton of crap and I can't argue because she'll get worse.
