If you do not believe in a psychic....
Say you go to one anyway. The psychic predicts that you will meet a certain person, in a specific month, that you will be wearing a specific shirt, and you will be in a specific place...completely detailed.
This event actually happens, exactly the way the psychic said it would.
Do you become a believer, or do you think this is just a coincidence?

The reason I ask is b/c I was pretty skeptical myself, until this actually happened to me.

I believe the human mind has phenomenal capabilities that only a fraction of the population can tap into certain zones. Though I am highly skeptical as a rule, those are pretty convincing predictions. I have NEVER heard of such a thing, though, verifiable.

I think it would be a very creepy coincidence. A psychic would have to predict something huge like a earth quake, presidential assassination, terrorist attack or some other type of big disaster for me to believe in them. Maybe there really are psychics out there, but there are defiantly not the people with 1-800 numbers on TV giving out relationship advise. If I were a psychic I would be trying to save some lives with my talent, not trying to hook people up.... Or rip people off!

I'd be less skeptical but they'd have to give me a pretty accurate prediction down to some fine detail.

But the reason I'm skeptical is that I've no experience of anyone managing to make that kind of prediction, even second hand experience. All you ever hear is wils stories in the tabloid press and you can't go around believing stuff just cus some cheep rag say so.

If you notice all the information you provided was given for you(you will be wearing a specific shirt, and you will be in a specific place...) it means that somehow you will manage everything in order it happens, so of course everyday we meet new people it's just that we don't talk to them but as you are so program with the idea something will happen as any person you meet that day, will be the ONE for you!
You see! :)

a psychic never predicts the future correctly. They throw in a lot of you could, you may, you might. They are a waste of time and money.

Spoken by someone that has wasted a lot of money :-)

Just put my check in the mail!

I like the one on the DAVID LETTERMAN show last night. A man goes to a medium because he wants to talk to his wife. The medium said, for $25 you can talk to her. For $50 you can talk to each other. For $100 you can talk to each other while I drink this glass of water!

It is BUNK in other words!
