check for a loose fuse in the fuse box...if not it is probably a bare spot in the wiring harness going to the lights...

Your bulb probably wasn't put in correctly the last time it was replaced and it isn't connecting, kind of like a loose battery, or if the bulb was installed in the rain - any water would cause it to sometimes not connect. This is true if you notice it going off/on when you go over bumps or gyrate your car.

its probably the headlight switch they have a built in circuit breaker and when it goes bad thats what happens
