i have watched a few and i am a big fan of horror movies. the best one as far as i could remember would be the grudge. it really takes the **** out of you. don't watch it. the exorcist is believed to be the scariest movie ever made.There are tales about ominous events surrounding the year-long shoot, including the deaths of nine people associated with the production and stories about a mysterious fire that destroyed the set one weekend.
Exorcism of Emily rose is amazing i really like that one.

I just saw The Descent...that was really good
I also like the Saws (even though they're not really horror)
Friday the 13th movies, Halloween, Rosemary's Baby

Mine would probably be the Ring, Darkness Falls, and the Grudge. They weren't very scary but those were the only ones that made me jump in the movie(i don't get scared very often)

The Scream trilogy. They weren't scary but they are the best "horror" movies in my collection.

mine would have to be silence of the lambs. it's not really that scary, but it's one of those that messes with your mind and makes you think. but candyman really scared me...to this day, i still can't watch it
