I have been making waxing my chin for some time and I think I must have been missing the roots because now my chin hairs are growing thick. I have been plucking them out indiviually but I'm not sure if this will make the hairs grow thinner again. Any tips anyone can give me?

Plucking seems to work best. If you don't want to do it yourself try getting a professional to do it. You could also try threading. I personally pluck mine. It pulls the whole hair out of the root, and your skin is still smooth afterwards.

Those annoying little black hairs come with age, or so I have been told. As we age or hormone levels change and that can lead to the change in facial hair. If you are fairly young, 20 something, then it could signify a hormonal imbalance that should be addressed through your physician.

I have always used a depilatory and it works well for the peach fuzz but still have to pluck those little black buggers. I don't know of any sure fire way to target them. Electrolysis or laser hair removal is probably your best bet if plucking just isn't for you.

ANDY~ What ever you do DO NOT GET LASER HAIR REMOVAL. I got ripped off for $1000 and that was a special for 2 years of treatment at a legitimate Beverly Hills laser hair removal center. I did treatments for a year and nothing happened, not to mention the fact that I had to face days of embarrassment and paranoia while "growing it out" in order for the laser to "see" it. I ended up plucking them out, and I'm thinking about threading. good luck.

normally some people remove by threading but other methods may develop the hair thick and rough
