No, that's the way market forces work. If more people want episodes of Pokemon than every other anime, then they'll most likely get it.

OK the Simpson's is not an Anime as we consider an anime to let all you people who keep saying Simpsons, in the US and some other places anime refers to shows coming out of Japan, while in Japan anime refers to all cartoons, but most people on this site that are looking at these questions consider anime the latter.

To get to the question, no, if they want to keep making an over hyped show that was based on an awesome game and that has been marketed to it's full extent and then some then let them keep making it for the fans. It just shows that fans still want it, and the company wants to keep making it.
But if you look at it from another stand point yes, there have been other great shows made that people still want more of, but because of the creator or someone else involved they have chosen to make more of it like Pokemon has.

I wouldn't say that its unfair because the newer seasons of pokemon don't have the same intensity or atmosphere as when it first started. Now they are just putting it together in the same fashion with each and every new episode or season. Ash either needs to become a pokemon master already or give up pokemon all together

Not just doremon. But Detective Conan has been around abit longer as well. As well as Crayon Shin Chan. Pokemon holds no candle to these yet. But im sure someday this over rated show will soon break the barrier of Doremon if Japan keeps being stupid and still continue watching it.

no!! it's fair. there's more than 250 types of pokemon and i still want more. they can not introduce all kinds of pokemon in just 9 seasons.

It's the second longest running anime I believe, and they've announced the tenth movie already. But Doreman is still the longest, its been in production for over 30 years.

well, its still extremely popular in Japan, where it originates from, so if they keep making it over there, they most likely will translate and bring it over here for the ten or twelve fans it still has......
