Should we use .com or .ae (country code Top-Level Domain) for our company?

Should we use .com (dot com) or .ae (country code Top-Level Domain) for our company. We've Child Companies and we'll also have sub / child domains too. Why'd we use dot com when we'd use country code Top-Level Domain? Please help.

BUT
if you talk with someone and you talked about your company then you left him without telling him ( dot what ) he will think its .com
its international, famus thing only

but for UAE company .ae will be cool too
you can get in everyones hose with that Domain :)
so NO problem

take bothe Domain name ( .com , .ae ) so no one will copy your work and name ;)

Many people prefer the .com since it makes you look more international. It really depends on what your company does and is of only local use.

I know a prominent British site that uses the .com domain even though they are only of use to people in the UK. They constantly get American Spam on their forums and people from the US complaining that they posted then realized that it wasn't a US site. Many people in the US seem to wrongly think that .com is the US domain.

Here's what I'd do.
Register the .ae address and use that as your companies address.

Register the .com address as well, put a really good-looking page on the .com address with a huge logo-link to your company, but also put on that page links for other companies in other countries.
e.g. have a UK link that links to a UK company similar to yours. Especially if they have a scheme to reward for traffic

That way if international visitors come that are of no use to you, you might make some money forwarding the traffic to other sites in other countries.

Country code domain is used for telling that this site is regional. And the .com domain is used for commercial purposes. And mostly all websites are in .com and it is easy to memorize

i suggest you should use .com. bcoz .com domain is used for commercial purposes and more popular in international. customer more easy find your companies profile or product if your company a retail company. Branch companies can used sub domain.

then .ae domain is used for telling that your company is registered in regional site or you can used .ae to branch company for different location

Maintaining DNS data is no more difficult for one domain than for any another. It all comes down to manipulating the top level database. So, since the physical task is exactly the same for ANY top level domain, that leaves the old standard, supply and demand and charging what the market will bear.
