Respect is the most important. I would not be with someone who does not respect me.

I would choose respect. I dont think you can love someone if you dont respect them. The man i am with says he loves me, when he is in a good mood anyway, but i know that he dont have an ounce of respect for me. It shows!!!!!!! That respect is more important!

Respect. Love isn't anything without respect. I desire to be cherished more than anything. There's nothing nicer than seeing an elderly couple, still holding hands - and he treats her like a Goddess. That's what I'm waiting for.

I had an affair several years ago, and my husband caught me. I ended up telling my employer because I was such an emotional wreck. I ended up loosing my respect at my work place because of this as well. That was extremely hard, but my marriage did survive because of LOVE. I would have to choose Love. Jobs come and go...but True love doesn't.

I would choose LOVE, but I would miss respect.

Having respect with no love, would always be cold.

Having love with no respect, would be meaningless

tough decision

False dilemma. There is no real love without respect. Trust me on this. Disrespect leads to resentment, and resentment leads to defensiveness and mistrust. A relationship has to feel safe for love to really grow and mature.

i would have said love, but after the last couple relationships i have had i might say respect. i wasn't respected in either of them, and without respect it's hard to believe that you are loved. so i don't know. this one's a stumper.

Respect. 100% respect. When you respect someone you are showing them that you do love them. When you love someone and don't respect them, you don't really love them.

Love = respect, consideration for the others feelings, tolerance when
you both can't see eye to eye, and caring. This works both ways, and must be shown by both.
