I know most Americans like to paint Jesus as a holy white all American lad with Redish Hair and and Blue Eyes but what would your reaction be?

Would Conservatives Freak out? or would they come up with conspiracy theories like how Liberals do about 9/11?

It is already a known fact he was not caucasian, most likely olive skinned as is normal for the region. I don't think anyone has freaked out about it. People worship Jesus for his teachings, not his skin color.

The leap to black arab shouldn't affect anyone's beliefs.

there is a difference between a conservative and a racist bigot.
The people that insist on believing that Jesus was a lily white anglo- saxon. Just using logic of what area of the world Jesus was from
only makes sense that Jew was at least medium or olive colored
Also the Bible says that Moses married an Euthiopian.
So Moses was likely the first inter-racial marriage.

I do not understand why when speaking of the Bible people can only see in terms of black and white when the Jewish and meditterainian are somewhat in between

Truthfully, since I'm a white Conservative I'll tell you how the average white person sees Jesus.

We see him with a dark, olive toned skin...coloring to be more of Jewish descent. We also realistically see him with brown eyes and not blue. Blue would be unrealistic considering his heritage, although anything is possible. (My grandmother was born in Roma, Italy and was a toe-head with blue eyes. Go figure)

We do see Jesus with long hair, but then how many men cut their hair short and styled in those days. We were not there, so we don't know for certain. So in all truth, Roman Catholics see Christ for what He was. A Jewish man...who most probably had dark long hair, and brown eyes. At least that's what he looks like in all my pictures of him. And no...no freaking out...sorry to disappoint you.

Why concern yourself with what color Jesus is, so what if he is black, yellow green or any other color, he is a holy man without any sin, and I don't mind what color he is, one day I will get to meet my maker, and why would conservatives freak out if in fact he is Black Arab Jew, at least they will know for sure what race he definitely is, but there will always be the odd that will still argue the fact that he is white. You could introduce Jesus to them and they would still argue

I am conservative and I do not believe that Jesus was white. Given the place and time he was born he would be Black haired and very dark skin. I do not believe black as the African Americans but more like Latino dark. So no we wont freak out or come up with lies to try to cover the facts as libertards do.

To be fair, it's not just Americans who paint Jesus as white. That was being done for 1800 years before there was a United States.

Jesus was in fact Jewish! It took me a while to ponder on if he was black or white. After much Thought and splitting the bible apart I have come to the conclusion that Jesus was indeed white!
How does one arrive at such a conclusion. Will for one thing the majority of Jewish people are White!! The Black Jewish people are ones that have converted!! If indeed Jesus was black then there would be a much larger population of Black Jews!!
Another little thought God Created Adam and Eve however there were already towns people. Nothing was mention of there creation in the bible. The were the gentiles.

What makes you so sure that conservatives see Christ as a white guy? God made us in His own image, wouldn't His image be like all of us? Christ said He was all things to all people, so why shouldn't whites see Him as white, or Mexicans see Christ as Mexican? Christians are more concerned with the MESSAGE than what color the Messenger was. A little common sense would have answered this question for you. Apologies for using the masculine pronoun for those who might get offended.

What do you mean "if"? Every Christian I know knows that Jesus was from the middle east, not white not with red hair and not with blue eyes.

Actually, most Christians I know realize Jesus probably had bronze skin, dark hair, and brown eyes.
So I wouldn't react at all if He had been black.
