I would say it's the Ferrari P4/5 Pininfafrina as there is only one in the whole world. It was made specially for just one person.

I think its the Audi D type. There are only 2 left in the world and one is selling at an auction pretty soon. Its supposed to go for 15 million dollars. It was a nazi race car. There were only 40 or so of them made but all but 2 were destroyed in WWII. Its pretty amazing what they could do with cars even back then. It had supercharged V10 engine and could do a max of about 180 mph.

So wait a minute, that custom ferrari that there's only one of. Did
he have it painted white? Or is that actually a second car?

The rarest car in the whole world is a 1950s/60s vintage MG that has gone over 10,000 miles without a major mechanical breakdown. It does not exist,

I would guess that there are a lot of one-offs and prototypes.

If you're talking about a car that was actually produced and sold, then the Bugatti Type 41 Royalle would be high on the list. There were 6 made and and two are left.

Then there is the Jaguar XJ13. Only one was made and it was crashed heavilly, but then rebuilt and lives in the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust collection.

i work for a classic race car company, as for rare cars i have worked on Fangio's race winning Maserati 250F, its not a one off but certainly one of the most famous. also at the moment im working on the Cooper V8 Maserati which Salvadori raced in his last ever season, and if thats not rare enough, we have the remains of Phill Hill's Ferrari 'shark nose' 156, ( all of wich were destroyed by order of Ferrari at the end of their racing life) which is a laser project for this year. Oh and not to mention having the only remaining body shell of a Maserati tipo 151, all of which have since been wrecked. Previous projects include Ferrari 250 SWB, GTO, MM, TDF...
But as for the rarest, well lots of prototypes have been made by lots of companies. as for the nicest, well thats a matter of taste. And if its value you want well one of the above was refused a sale by the owner when over £10,000,000 was offered to him.

The Chevy Malibu Z16 would be somewhere on the list. Only 15 were made, IIRC. The features in that option package were later on the Malibu SS.

Lady Penelope's pink Ford from the film version of Thunderbirds

It's a one off. So nothing is rarer because there's only one!
