Oh no
That is a very painful injury.
Your thumb is the most important part, of your hand
Go to Accident & Emergency
to have it checked out
for damage ( to nerves , bone and soft tissue )
Immeidiate treatment :
cold compress or hand in cold water, to reduce swelling
Clean dressing if the skin is broken .
Then keep at shoulder level, till you see a doctor .
2 paracetamol for pain, will help
I hope it will soon be better

Does it look broken?? if so go to the dr, if not apply ice, on 20 minutes, off 30 minutes, and then either go to a drug store and buy a finger splint or use a popsicle stick or tongue depressor and use medical tale tp affix it to your thumb. keep it on for a day or two. keep applying ice as often as needed. take some ibuprofen ar tylenol, as directed on the bottle, if it gets any worse at any time over the next 3 days...have it looked at. Good Luck
