Ronaldo is way better than Adriano even when he isn't fit. They really need Ronaldo unless they can suddenly come up with an amzing talent or modify an existing talent

I don't think Brazil will need Ronaldo by 2010. That's 3 years away, giving the younger talents like Adriano plenty of time to gain experience and work on their skills. By that time they will all be great players and will be able to hold their own. Don't get me wrong, Ronaldo's been a great player, but I don't think he is what the team is going to need by the time 2010 comes around.

Well, he hasn't been properly fit for the LAST three years, so why should anyone expect him to suddenly get fully fit by 2010, when he will also be three years older and slower ? The fact is that now he has moved to Italy, he is winding down his career and is looking towards retiring fairly soon. He may have more skill than Adriano, but Adriano is younger, faster, and stronger and, currently, he must be first choice for 2010.

I think Adriano will be the main striker in 2010. Ronaldo may be a useful substitute while Ronaldinho & Baptista will make an excellent pair in midfield.

They don't need Ronaldo, they have Robinho and Fred who is a great finisher and with strong midfield like Brazil has, a great finisher is all that you need, Adriano is very unpredictable player, in 2010 he could be in very good or in very bad form, but I think that Robinho will be at his peak in the next WC!!!!! But Brazil has so many great players that is very hard to pick the perfect starting line up!!!!

i'm also a huge fan of Ronaldo yet i do not imagine that he will be ready to play. he's getting previous and out of style and he has been having quite a number of issues which includes his knee. He should be a subsitute yet Brazil purely has too many solid gamers. yet Ronaldo nonetheless has the most targets contained in the international Cup

Yes they do, Ronaldo to me is the 3rd best player in the history of football,he is a phenomenon, he is just magical, and he is definitely the best striker to ever play the game, when he is in form no defender can do anything about it, just wait until he gets fit and gets back on form in Milan, ull see what he can do! so yes Brazil definitely need him in 2010.

No way! He ruined Brazil in Germany, because they ordered him to break that record, he had to score at least 3 goals. He shouldn't have played in this past WC, let alone in the next one. I don't care if he used to be the best in the world 100 years ago. He can't play anymore.

NOT AT ALL because he'll be more fat than before and he'll be a disaster for a fantastic team like Brazil.......Don't compare him with Oliver Kahn who still has much energy left in him to compete for Germany..........Brazil needs some Youngsters and perfectionists but not like ronaldo..........He has played his part and GOODBYE to ronaldo..........
