external hard disk will never slow ur computer it is used by USB connection where data transfer will be 11MB per minutes,

An external hard drive slows down the computer. What will slow it down is how your transmitting data to that hard drive. Having additional memory would speed it up because then you have resources devoted to other processes while that is performing.
