Why not try making sugar eggs?

You can make all sorts of shapes using the same principle - use eggwhite (or substitute) instead of water to make them stronger.
Good for Christmas tree decorations, too - make lots of pretty scenes inside - put on a windowsill and the light will shine through the sugar - very pretty.
No need for special moulds - draw egg shapes on greaseproof paper and make mounds of sugar to fit - cut off one end if you want them to stand up.
They will last for years!!

You could buy molds for making your own easter eggs (just add melted chocolate), or jazz up an old hat with ribbon, glitter etc for your very own easter bonnet.

Have fun.x
