and when i say do you think humans will evolve im talking about at the stage that were at now will we mutate or what?

I dunno how often a new species evolves (although it has been observed to happen in the lab, and in nature), but we haven't discovered anywhere near all the species that are alive today yet. So any new species which we find has most likely been around for a while, we just haven't seen it yet.

For example there are more species of beetles alive today than everything else put together. But only somewhere between 5 and 50% of them have been 'discovered' by science (been described formally in scientific publications).

umm.. the 1/10th of our brain power thing is an urban myth. There's a website called skopes or something that is good for checking things like that. But yeah, evolution is non-stop. But more powerfully, I think we'll be evolving ourselves thru genetic engineering someday.
