It means exactly, or specifically.

Per se. It has much the same meaning as 'as such'

I'm not keen on flying per se, but it does get me there faster.

It is 'per se' not 'per say'. It is Latin and it means 'by itself', meaning without considering any other factors.

Means, first of all, you don't know how to spell "per se". Per se means "in and of itself", and is often used to mean "exactly". A lot of people use it rather wrongly, though (in addition to spelling it wrongly).
