Kapil n Jadeja got away more leniently...why Azza was singled out for such heavy punishment ? He was after all a very very successful captain, don't you think?

Yes I totally agree with you. If Kapil & Jadeja got away why Azhar did not given the clean chit by the BCCI.

I think BCCI stands for..
Bakwas Chindi-Chor Committee of Idiots

Kapil Dev was cleared of the match fixing controversies by
the BCCI

And the BCCI has not disclosed to the public,as to how
Azharuddin was involved in match fixing.

So,we can't say anything on the BCCI's decision.

But it's true that other countries (cricket boards) are much more lenient to
their players compared to India.

It is not Kapil. Jadeja or Azar'. All should have been protected by our board. Australia, let Mark Waugh & Shane Warne escape with light punishment. Even South Africa, England, Pakistan let their players with less penalty. Our board has been very harsh.

I'd say yes. But then he didnt have much to say in favour of himself. Its a long time now and life goes on.

Well cant say perhaps he didnt fight strongly and accepted his fate.If he would have fought for his place he surely would have won

I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU.IT WAS THE FAULT OF AZAR ALSO, HE DID NOT PURSUE HIS CASE RIGOROUSLY.
