Nelsons Teetha Teething Crystals work really well. They are all natural so you can also use teething gels with them.

ADDED: These can be used at any age, I have just read the box as I was giving a sachet to my son (11 months).

PEOPLE READ THE QUESTION FIRST!!
This baby is 10 weeks old, so cannot possiably pick up a teething ring or go anywhere a rusk , nor use half the medication or gels listed!!!

My advice is to wash your hands and use your little finger to rub the gums, or buy a teething brush and you gently massage the gums. My daugher found a dummy useful too - that might help. My daughter also started teething early, and has just cut her two front teeth together, she is now 6months old. Obviously when your child is older a teether, bonjela, teething powders etc are all really good, but your baby is too young. Also i would only give calpol or nurofen if your baby has a temp or is screaming non stop for ages.

well orajel, or bonjela as it is in the uk, and teething rings help a lot of babies. But non of that worked on my LO. The only thing that's worked is a teething powder called Ashton and parsons. YOu just rub it on the gums and it was like magic lol, Plus is homoeopathic so you not harming them in anyway, The other things that used to help him is a damp muslin cloth. He would chew on that happily for ages and it seemed to help a lot. ONly when it was really bad as the teeth were actually cutting through did i give him calpol at night. Hope its not too tough for you, teething is horrible for baby and mummy!

I used 'Anbesol' - you can buy it at the chemists. Its a liquid that you put on to gums with your finger and it numbs the area so they don't feel any pain.
I used it with both my children and it kept them quiet for hours!!
Its also useful for adults too, if you suffer from mouth ulcers or anything like that.

You could also try giving your baby a teething ring that has been in the fridge for a little while, some babies find something cool to bite on quite soothing. Hope this helps, tc.

you should use ashton and parsons teething powder. Ashton & Parsons Infants Powders are an alternative to paracetamol-based preparations for babies for easing the symptoms associated with teething. I first discovered these powders through recommendation by no less than three separate parents, all of whom had used them with great success with their own children. I am always keen to find ‘alternative’ ways of treating ailments and when I read the packet description - “a herbal product

* Offer him a dry, unsweetened rusk to chew on
* Give a clean, gel-filled teething ring, cooled in the fridge to relieve his tingling gums. Do not place the ring in the freezer or dip it in honey
* Use a barrier cream on his chin, to help prevent soreness from continual dribbling
* Apply a teething gel with a clean finger. This may numb the gum and give temporary relief. The disadvantage of such gels is that their application may introduce infection into baby’s mouth and some babies may be allergic to the local anaesthetic they contain
* Try regular sips of cooled, boiled water
* If your baby is restless or fretful from teething, give him a dose of a sugar-free paracetamol suspension suitable for babies .If this doesn't soothe him, talk to your GP or health visitor as your baby may be unwell for another reason
* Homeopathic teething granules seem to help some babies. Read babyworld's information on homeopathic treatments

Seems young to be teething. Not impossible though. I would say maybe let him suck on a teething ring if he will. Orajel says not to use it until 4 months old. But you might ask the doctor or pharmacy if it is okay to use it before then. They also have those teething tablets, but then again, I would say talk to his doctor about it before you use them. Good luck!

yes,

take a little towel, soak it in juice or water, freeze it and then give it to your baby to suck on. (my fav)
another trick would be to use those teething gels which i dont like because they sting
teething rings that you also put in freezers
I keep remembering things.. tylenol will ease the pain especially at night
