I, personally, think, that the distance between the two points, mentioned, is around EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY miles, - give or take a few, either way! But, try to find a website, relating to legendary former England CRICKETER, IAN BOTHAM. That man OUGHT to know. He's WALKED that route, - in aid of Leukaemia Research, - on a NUMBER of occasions! Having JUST LOOKED, I can TELL you, that, - according to a BBC News item, on the matter, - THEY estimate the distance at 860 miles. So MINE wasn't SO far off, - was it?
