Why some ladies call themselves bachelor girls and not spinster girls? Isn't the term "bachelor" meant for men only?

The word 'bachelor' is used for men who are unmarried. The term 'spinster' is used only for old or middle-aged women who are unmarried.

spinster is the word for the girl/woman who didn't get married till at the age after 35.
bachelor is meant for boys
unmarried is the word for the girl.

spinsters are sad old hags that aren't getting any.
Bachelor ladies are strong confident women who get it when they want but dont need a man for anything else!!

i agree with you , but i think they do it cos to be a batchelor is more accepted by societly and seen as a lifestyle chioce, where as spinster implies they are old and unwanted

i am going to provide an "oral presentation" for the time of that beautiful month-to-month visit. only because i don't experience like getting down, does no longer recommend my guy shouldn't appreciate himself. ballot: Hotdogs disgust me, so neither.
