using the radix r=-i+j (j=sqrt(-1)),in the digit set [0,1],how can I express the number -49+j in this system?

This is a question in computer arithmetic. I've been cracking my head, but I havent gotten anywhere.

Let r = -49 + j = -49 + sqrt(-1)
