Divorce is NOT legal everywhere. So perhaps this question comes from a part of the world where it is NOT legal.

Second, perhaps the person simply wants to know the arguments used to legalize divorce.

While we are not commanded to divorce, even the Bible says divorce is allowed because our hearts become hardened.

Personally, why I'm against divorce unless there is no other solution, and I personally believe too many people simply give up, or become infatuated with an affair partner instead of putting that energy into their marriage, it's probably better to allow divorce than it is to have unhappy or selfish spouses killing their mates because they no longer want to be married to them.

divorce is already legalized. My opinion on this subject should be to change the divorce system of filing. It costs only about $45-$65 to get a marriage licence at the court house but when you get divorced it costs upwards to $5,000.00. The attorney's are not only getting rich off the plaintiff but also the defendant. They're tying up the court system with who gets who's china dishes, pets, children, cars, propertys etc.

There should be a divorce tax you pay at the court house to undo your marriage. It should cost no more than $100.00 and should solve the court systems being tied up with the squabbles and fights that couples drama during a divorce.

Divorce is legal. However, i think there should be some form of legislation created to deal with marriage and divorce. It is far to easy for people to marry. Divorce on the otherhand is a bit more complicated and rightfully so. However, I think there should perhaps be legislation that requires both parties to attend pre-marriage counseling, and marriage counseling when trouble arises in a marriage.

I believe that Adultery should be made a felony offense with a mandatory 5 year prison sentence imposed on anyone who is caught cheating in a marriage.

This type of law on the adultery part, might cause people who want to cheat in a marriage to pause and think before they do it.

Pre-nuptial agreements should be a part of any marriage is another good way to cut down on the number of divorces in this country and would help to make the courts less congested.
