Firstly find something that you do that relaxes you. You can try thought stopping. Basically how that works is, you stop any negative thoughts that enter your mind by actually telling them to stop then you think about something positive. It takes a little practice but will work if you give it a try. I use this technique everyday with clients that see me about stress and have had wonderful results.

It depends on the cause of your mental tension. Without knowing the cause all I can recommend is a hot bubble bath three times a week with lavender oil in it (before bed), taking valerian root to help you get a good nights sleep (before bed), lemon balm is helpful for nerves and a good B vitamin complex is excellent for stress. Try yoga its very tension reducing. For emergency calm, get Bach's rescue remedy and follow the instructions. Hope this helps.

Yoga, meditation and prayers are some of the means. Look at nature's beautiful scenes. Look at smiling babies. Take tiem out to stroll in a peaceful garden and analise the life's uncertanities and understand that that you are not alone in having menatl tensions. Overcoming that tension is in yourhands.

2. Go for a Morning Walk for Fresh Air
3. Go out to see people, dinner, party club
4. Go for a walk before going to bed
5. Dont think too much, let life take its own course

try out meditation, go for yoga....if dat doesnt help...try talking to someone u trust. All u need right now is a friend
