It is a very complex situation indeed !!!
Sometimes we are caught in between and we have no direction ahead. isn't it?
Brain: always analyses with the data and information pertaining to our past experience to take decisions. Whereas our Heart without going much into the analysis wants it, if it likes it very much.
Heart : wants to gratify itself immediately without thinking of the consequences. whereas the Brain wants to analyse before jumping into any conclusion.
So, whom to listen ??.. That's what is happening with me also. :-)
Yes. my heart says marry. whereas my brain says DONT marry.

In general, we have to listen some times to the heart and sometimes to the brain depending upon the issues on hand,but the consequences must be kept in mind.
Better to list out the plus and minus factors for both solutions of brain as well as heart and decide the best one will give more benefits and less problems.
If possible consult your near and dear before you act and decide to your need,but ensure mental piece is no way affected.

To be scientifically correct, it is only your brain that decides after all. It is a whimsical and figurative expression that people say "the heart" says something. Only the brain feels and thinks and this is what we term as EMOTION. At the end of the day, after repeated analysis, testing and hypothetical calculations, your brain gives the final ruling. How you feel after everything is still part of this process, if you feel good then you say you are in love and your "heart" triumphs.

I have always tried to listen to both my heart and brain at together. but sometimes the heart is blind it could lead u the wrong way. the mind is always wiser. however try to listen to the heart and brain at the same time and make ur decision

My brain, it is far more intelligent than my heart...and should be!
Your heart is designed so you can feel love and compassion for any other living thing, even those things that are not 'desirable' or would not contribute to the survial of the species. Your brain is designed to reign in that love so that you feel it appropriately. You can love a toad, that doesn't mean you should LOVE a toad if ya get my meaning.

Brain, there's no point in listening to your heart. Easy to preach, hard to follow...
Besides there would be no point why your brain wouldn't tell you to do something which is good for you. If it refrains you from doing something, well..... (Brain = rational being, heart = plain crazy)

For materialistic success approach your "father" and seek advice from him!!
For Spiritualistic/ Familial/ success go to your "mother"!!
