K+(aq) + NO3-(aq) --> KNO3(s)
would this reaction be exothermic or endothermic?
ALSO, i don't understand what happened to the system when the temperature was lowered and crystals of KNO3 formed (in terms of le chateliers principle).

If the temperature was lowered and crystals formed, then your equilibrium moved to the right. This is because it wanted to raise the temperature again, by going in the exothermic direction.
