Brian Johnson is not Gary Cherone or Jason Newstead. Since he was in the process of getting his "glam" band from the 70s back together, and he has talent , he would have been fine. May have even stole thunder away from Quiet Riot, Krokus and eventually Motley Crue if he had gone that way.

This is more of an opinion rather than an answer, but I think AC/DC should have got Dan McCafferty from Nazareth as Bons' replacement. He would have been much better than Brian.

Probably what he was doing when AC/DC came calling back in 1980 - working on a building site in Newcastle & singing part-time with his band Geordie.
Then again, he wouldn't have joined forces with Angus & Malcolm Young & made what is widely regarded as the best hard rock album of all time - Back In Black.

He would of no doubt have his own band, Brian is good, but Bon is a legend.

I think Brian is good, but Bon WAS the group! Back in black is ok, but their previous albums were/are GREAT!! Kinda like Van Halen with Roth...

No idea. He is definitely no Bon Scott and he seems to always be straining to sing, like it is very hard for him (kinda like Michael Bolton)

Wasn't he the bands roadie prior to Bon's departure? If so, he'd probably still be humping their gear and scoring their drugs!
