Juan Gone should hang it up for good. His best years were in Texas, a hitters park, which ballooned his numbers some in the first place. Still a great player in his prime though. Cedeno can probably battle for a starting job with some teams, but I doubt he will do more than platoon. Sosa has lost a lot of his power, but going to Texas will help him hit it those few more feat past the warning track and into the stands. He also has no one to compete against. He will work his way into the starting lineup, probably by opening day and he will put up mediocre numbers. But hey, who else does Texas have in the outfield? Sosa will ultimately get the most playing time and opportunities, and will therefore have the more successful comeback.

After sitting out a season to get his head together and get in the best shape he could, I think Sammy Sosa will have a very good year. I think if Texas concentrates on making him a Designated Hitter, Sammy will do just fine. He could always hit and he knows Texas since he started his career there. He also has a great love of the game of baseball. I think all of these reasons will lead him to a couple more decent years. As for the other two, Juan Gonzalez has just been too injury prone and inconsistent for anyone to believe he can make a comeback. Look for him to hang them up after he is cut late in Spring training. Cedeno never really lived up to his potential so even if he does come back, I don't think he'll have much of an impact. Have to go with Sammy!

I think Sammy has cleared his head and is ready to produce again. 30-35, 85, .285 is not out of the question. I wish Juan Gonzalez well. With him, its a matter of staying healthy. If he gets his cuts and shakes off the rust, he can still contribute, but as to how much, I couldn't venture a guess. This is the first I'm hearing about Cedeno. As I recall, his biggest asset was his speed. That tends to be the first thing to go on a ballplayer.

I think Sammy's comeback will be watched more closely but I think that Roger Cedeno will have a more successful one.

Sammy, he is still liked by the fans, and he is stilll in good shape. I think he will make the major league roster. Juan Gonzalez, not so much.

All are going to have a tough time but Sosa should play the best in the hitter friendly park in Texas.

I have to say Cedeño, because he played great winter ball here in Venezuela, and that always helps latin players when they go back to the States, they arrive in better shape to spring training. Sammy hasn't played (as far as I know), and Juan-gone played ok in the Caribbean series, but not incredibly.
