Well they do it with a laser now so there is minimal scaring,your tied to the table with a curtain up so you don't see them working down there, they will lower it if you ask when your baby comes out, it was easy,painless, and since I never had a vaginal birth I am not sure if it's more rewarding or not, but if there is a medical reason why your having one then talk to your doctor about pro's and con's

My wife had one. There were no complications/problems just a longer recovery time. You can't lift anything heavy for a while incase you break the stitches. Also, in some cases you will need to have another for your next depending on how strong the scar is.

I had one ceasarian when I was at death's door and it went very well and I was SO looked after. I had another when I was not so ill and it was an absolute nightmare. Different hospitals, doctors and anesthiatists. Really, whatever happens as long as you have your baby it will be worth it.
