They've done studies that say if you separate boys and girls in classes such as english and math, both groups test MUCH better. I think it's the fact that the boys don't feel the teen need to act like idiots to make the girls giggle, and the girls don't feel the need to primp and be all giggly and cute to make the boys act like idiots. I think the schools should be co-ed, but the classes should be gender separated. That way they can all still hang out, but still get a good education and get better grades.

I think what matters most is the mind set of the student. If they're going to the University to study and get ahead then I don't think it matters. If they're going to party...well I still don't think it matters. Bottom line is you can always find a way to do what you have your mind set on. Now if you're talking elementary or high school then I think in elementary school it's good to get boys & girls use to each other. In high school I actually think they're at an age where it would benefit both boys & girls to not attend together.

I understand both sides. I went from a mixed to an all girls school, and I really didnt work harder. Mixed schools are good because that is when you develop inter-relationship skills. So you learn how to interact with both sexes.
Single sex schools have higher success rates, but I feel it creates more biasism of the opposite sex, or a mystery. Causing them to go and explore earlier.

We should definalty keep schools mixed.... seperated schools can turn our kids into anticsocial people... they will be living the rest of their lives with the opposite sex, so having them exposed now can give them a chance to become comfortable, and will teach them how to deal

i imagine i will grant you with a stunning good answer. i'm initially from Iran, grew up in Germany and stay contained in the U.S. on account that 1993. I artwork area-time as a driving instructor and that i have scholars from unmarried sex colleges and coed colleges. the quick answer is this: relies upon how solid your college is. it should be a unmarried sex college yet have undesirable instructors. Or it should be coed and performance solid instructors. As a prevalent rule I have talked about that the only sex colleges have a better effective education because they have an inclination to be inner most and performance better effective instructors. In l. a. i ought to say for adult adult males the finest college is Loyola it truly is a unmarried sex college yet for females it should be Harward Westlake it truly is a mixed sex college. unmarried college youngsters are extremely too open at the same time as it includes talking to the different sex and don't understand the bounds. So socially not deprived yet in authentic existence people ought to take advantage of you if you're a woman. In Coed you study quickly that adult adult males are jerks and hit upon the thanks to preserve your self. So yeah, females who flow to singel sex colleges are better nicer and get take benefit via adult adult males better actual. That reported it really is needed what you opt on. in case you a woman and also you want a lot less competative and larger cooperative environement and also you do not care about boys that a lot and also you opt on to have female interesting, flow to unmarried college. in case you may submit with the crap that is going on in mixed colleges and do not care a lot about your destiny coed should be better effective. yet again you opt on to understand what college has the finest education and instructors first. I have considered many women from unmarried sex colleges and many adult adult males from unmarried sex colleges going to Harward and Yale and best universities contained in the country. yet i don't understand the reason being by using the indisputable fact that is a private college or because it really is unmarried sex college. also there are some mixed colleges that are so solid that their scholars also flow to proper colleges. finally, you ought to flow to at least one and not in any respect like it...SO WHAT??? change college. it really is not written in stone it really is needed to stay in a million college. flow to at least one and stay there for few weeks or a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and in case you don't love it change it. finished.

Both have their pros and cons.
Mixed sex schools would mean both sexes learning to deal with people not only from the same sex. And that is one of the more important life skills. They'd be more exposed of course.
Single sex schools tend to perform better. Maybe cos of the lack of distraction? It leads to students focussing more on schoolwork. And they have that determination to want to outshine their peers.

I don't think it has any affect other than to teach them that they are equal. I think that if you were to separate the sex's at school it would lead to a lot of sexual discrimination like they have in other parts of the world.
