Yes if you're waiting in for a delivery and get some chores done that would otherwise have waited, you've gained time

It would be cool if it were possible to gain more time...but no, time is only lost. Never gained.

there are no troll,fairies or nomes that come and do things when you are killing time
altho i swear when you are waiting in a doc office or dentist or dmv the more time you sit there waiting the slower the clock goes

Washing my dishes while waiting for the microwave oven to finish its cooking minutes...I know it works for me, I hate standing in front and waiting for it...!
