which nintendo ds game would you highly recommend?

Phoenix Wright!!! Its seriously one of the best ds games out there. Phoenix Wright is a very story based game. You have to be willing to put a lot of time into it. If you like games that have an amazing storyline this is definitely a game for you. (CAUTION: Lots of reading!) It’s also on gba, but you can’t beat the touch screen capabilities that the ds has to offer.

Other good games are;
-Hotel Dusk (You play a detective)
-Rocket Slime (Adventure, you’re a slime that has to save Slimania)
-Brain Age (Math, Puzzles, Educational, Family Game)
-Elite Beat Agents (Music, Fallow the beat)
-Trauma Center (Intense touch screen doctor action)
-FF3 (Final Fantasy is well… Final fantasy)

If you have wireless internet at home I'd recommend Mario Kart DS, just because it's fun online.

For old-school-style games, the new Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin is supposedly really fun and somewhat challenging. That also has wifi capabilities (you can go online to trade items with others, nothing too exciting). Yoshi's Island 2 (or DS) is supposedly fun, too, but I've heard it gets kind of slow towards the end with the level design.

If you're into story-driven games, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Hotel Dusk: Room 215 can be fun. They're more puzzle-solving and logic oriented games, not as much interactivity as other games, but like I said, they're story-driven.

It all depends on your preference. I would recommend Animal Crossing. It's quite fun, especially if you like to play the games that try and tie into your actual life. But if you don't like those kind of games, Mario Kart is the best no matter who you are. Diddy Kong just came out too, and it's really fun. It's like Mario Kart, but in different types of "transportation". There are alot coming out every month. What kind of game genre do you prefer? I'm sure you'll think I'm a 'baby' because I like Tamagotchi Connection, but it's really fun.
You use the stylist to be a dentist, a flower shoppe owner, DJ, pool person... the list goes on. I <33 it. Anyways, hopefully you can find a game that you enjoy. Go to your local Best Buy or electronic store and tell them what games you like, and if there is a good enough person there, he/she can tell you exactly what they have that you would like.

Final Fantasy III-a good RPG game, its not the best, but good all around.

Brain Age-very fun and highly addictive. One of the best games available.

New Super Mario bros-an update on the classic game, a fun side-scroller.

Animal Crossing: Wild World-a portable version of the hit game, not as good as the gamecube game, but great for on the go (and addictive.)

if your are into sonic game you should try Sonic Rush. its uses both of the screens during the game and introduces Blaze the Cat, a new character.
