Your opening said, " I just found out " , that where you go first, it
is best to get it from your first source of info, ask on open ended
question to lead you into the next possible step....it is the very first
step that you can use as guide to lead you to his dead body.

If you knew his neigbourhood or close associates etc., they may
give you his contact of residental status...and then you could go
report it to the nearest Police station, they could follow -up for
you....but it alsi depends where you live. With your offices are
intact with IT- service it should take time for Police or Hospital
to search their death records......

But word of mouth still works best...so don't give in when it's for
free and another fastest way to get to find his dead body, write
our your own newsletter to friends and people you both know, tell
them about your present status and why you are searching for
him.......They should be of some source of information to your
searching for his present reality.

You might want to check with whatever health or statistics agency is available and see if there is a death certificate. Also, if his death was other than natural means there should be a police report.

There is not a lot else I can suggest. I have a few late friends as well, and I can guess what might have taken their lives, but I don't know for sure.

I don't suspect any of them of suicide.

the best would be to go to the mortuary and ask the dr who performed the autopsey what was the cause of death. however if it is too far to travel then you could just fone yellow pages and look up the deparment
