To cover up his failure in Iraq. Did we forget the main reason Bush invaded Iraq was his supposed claim that there were weapons of mass destruction there? There has not been one iota of a WMD found there but because of Bush's rash decision we cant just leave Iraq because that would turn the country into another post war Afghanistan with the Taliban running amok. This is a no win situation that Bush has put us in and has caused us our money and lives for the people that served there.

Wow. What college district is that? Presidnet George W. Bush prosecuted the conflict in Iraq for quite a number of motives. the only maximum widley understand and least understood, ad to do with guns of Mass Destruction. maximum individuals imagine that the perception grow to be to flow inot Iraq and discover vats of weaponized botulism or very nearly finished nuclear contraptions. the reality is way less concrete--Iraq had made consistent efforts to stymie inspections and had not in any respect presented an finished accounitng of their WMD components. there have been such components that were universal to be in Iraq in 1992 and in 1998, via 2002, the question grow to be what had occurred to those materails--what were destroyed and how, the position were they, ought to any of it really is tested? Hussein had also given a lot help and help to terrorists. We were engaged in Afghanistan for purely about a three hundred and sixty 5 days and it grow to be universal that al Qaeda contributors were fleeing--between the possibility-free havens they were fleeing to grow to be Iraq--partly the invasionwa about denying those havens and preventing help to different terror communities besides suhc as Hamas and Hezbollah.

The purpose? Really dude you have to wake up.... There's no "war" there....only money and power over poor people. So many men and women are beeing killed everyday -from both sides- and for what?
I think that every President or Prime Minister should first deal with poverty and crime in their own country, state etc. (New Orleans, London e.g.) and then AND ONLY THEN mess in other countries...

It costs a lot of money to maintain an army anywhere. And, don't doubt it, it will cost a lot more to pull them out. Then when the destabilized muddled east goes to ----in a hand basket and the cost of oil spirals up out of control we will live in really interesting times. Perhaps then 'W''s purposes will be a little clearer to everyone.
